DU UG admissions 2022 begins second phase registrations

On Monday, the University of Delhi (DU) commences the Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) 2022 phase 2 registration of the admission process. Which will allow candidates to choose their programme and college combination preferences. It is for the undergraduate programs. In a statement, the varsity said, “The candidates who have completed their application process of Phase-I must proceed to make their preferences for programs and colleges.”. The last date for preference-filling at DU is October 10, 2022. Aspirants can fill their preferences online from the official website- https://admission.uod.ac.in/

On September 12, DU has launched the portal for admission through CUET in its UG programs for the academic year 2022-23. This year admissions are done in 79 UG programs across 67 colleges, departments and centres, which includes 206 combinations for the BA programme as well. The CSAS 2022 will held admission process in six phases. The application process for both phase 1 and phase 2 of CSAS (UG) 2022 will continue till October 10, 2022. Candidates can select any number of programmes they wish to take admission in. However, they have to confirm the specific programme on the basis of their CUET UG 2022 merit score.

Candidates must choose the maximum number of preferences as adding, editing the programmes. Further, colleges will not allow that after the deadline of the phase 2 or preference-filling. The second phase of CSAS registration will be including “preference-filing”. Wherein candidates should choose the programme(s) s/he is willing to take admission if allocated. Moreover, the candidates must fill in the programme and college combinations preferences for every programme which they have chosen while filling the CUET UG application form.

CSAS Phase 2 Registration 2022 Preference Filling
Firstly, candidates should map their CUET UG 2022 test paper. Subjects with those in which they have passed Class 12th board examinations. The programme-specific candidate’s score will display on screen on the basis of CUET normalised score for all the programme. Candidate’s will auto calculate and display these programme-specific CUET scores.

During preference selection, candidates can select and mark preferences. Candidates can select colleges or programme of his/her choice while filling the preferences. The order to selection will also determine the preference order. Candidates must note to save the preference order before logging out the window. “Candidates will have confirm their preferences. If the confirmation is not provided till the last date, his/her last saved preference order will be locked automatically and will become the basis of allocation of seats for such a candidate,” DU said in a statement.
