1. Chache Di Hatti

Nothing can be said about this great Chole Bhature place. Everything has already been said about this place. It is known for providing the BEST Chole Bhature in North Campus. This store opens around 9 AM and is immediately rushed by the students getting their daily fix meal before their morning classes. This store is a celebrity among other Chole Bhature stores in the area. Chache Di Hatti definitely deserves all the limelight it gets, only because it serves out those soft, tangy, and tasty Chole Bhature that are known to sell out in just a few times. Therefore, the next time you are in the area, don’t forget to try it out—try to go before noon!

2. Bhagawat Banta

Outside the Kirori Mal College, you will see Bhagwant Bhaiya sitting with his usual cart full of different glass bottles, masalas, and a lemon concoction that will make you greedy on sight. This store has been around the area since 1995. Bhagwant Banta knows accurately how to fulfill all the Banta cravings of the peeps during those super hot and sunny days in the summer, with his special masaledar and fizzy Bantas that really hit hard. You will also find that Bhagwat Bhaiya loves to mix up sometimes and serves the students with his heavenly orange banana during those scorching summer days. 3. Sudama Tea Stall

Sudama Tea Stall has been present there for decades now, somewhat since the 1980s, and is super famous for its Masala Chai. The second you land anywhere around this stall, you will see many students rushing around the dainty shop, enjoying Sudama Ji’s piping cups of tea, while laughing, discussing, and chit-chatting about everything under the sun with their friends’ group. Go ahead and take your chiller gang here and sip away on the Masala Chai and create memories for a lifetime.

4. Chowringhee

Chowringhee is a small store situated in Satya Niketan and has been considered the favorite DU adda since its inauguration. It is famous for its finger-licking Kathi rolls that serve the perfect blend of juicy and crunchy at great affordable prices. Chowringhee knows how to provide a dish to perfection. Over the years, they have added to different varieties to their menu, which now serves a series of tasty Indian as well as Chinese cuisines. Tom Uncle’s Maggie Point acts as savior for all those broke DU peeps whose daily meal contains at least one plate of this deliciousness. You must try this once!

6. Mohan Lal Bhelpuri 

Bhelpuri is considered the perfect snack, being light on the stomach and filled with complimentary flavors, and no one does it better than Mohan Lal Bhaiya, who sits with his stall outside Hindu College. He fills his Bhelpuri with tasty stuffed rice, tangy and sweet chutney, coriander, peanuts, and crispy papdi with a little of nimbu and a sprinkling of bhujia namkeen on top to finish off his masterpiece, taking you on an epic, tasty journey. Nothing else left to talk about as the dish literary speaks for itself. You must go conquer and devour.

This diamond in the rough provides a variety of Chaats, Dahi Bhalla, and Pani Puri that will take your taste buds on a heavenly and tasty rollercoaster ride.
