Delhi University released the Application Form for Vice-Chancellor Internship Scheme

Delhi University opens the application form for Vice-Chancellor Internship Scheme (VCIS) 2024-25 on September 3, 2024. The notice was released on its official website, du.ac.in .

VCIS is a part time internship provided by Dean Student’s Welfare Office. The internship scheme was first started during the academic year 2022-23. It aims to provide the students of UG and PG courses with practical learning platforms, knowledge of integrated academics, and innovative and original learning opportunities. It allows flexible work of 8-10 hours per week to students. The maximum time period of the internship is six months from the day of joining. The stipend of rs. 5,500/- every month will be handed over to the students.

This internship can be only availed by the regular students of University of Delhi that are enrolled in courses or stream at undergraduate and postgraduate level. The scheme allows the students to take part in various departments, such as libraries, various labs and the office of Vice-Chancellor. The students of first year are not allowed to take advantage of this internship, they are excluded from VCIS.

The internship can be utilized by the students only once in their course of study in University of Delhi. At the end of the internship, certificate will be granted to the students from the Dean of Students’ Welfare, subject to the A satisfactory appraisal report from the concerned employing departments.

The link and the QR code is provided to the students in the form itself so that they can take access of the application and apply for the internship online. September 20, 2024 is the last date for the application form submission, interested students are required to fill out the form till then.
