Every year National testing agency is responsible for conducting various examinations for students who wish to be admitted to numerous colleges and Universities. The common University entrance test (CUET) is also a part of NTA that provides a stage and equal opportunities to students within the country and beyond the borders.
The CUET UG was introduced for the undergraduate programs that are been taught in the Central Universities all over the country. Common University entrance test comes under the Ministry of Education (MoE). Candidates can take this single examination and after clearing it, can have the opportunity to take admission in various Centre Universities or the University of their choice.
This year the national testing agency conducted CUET UG 2023 exams for its candidate from May 21st, 2023, and ended on June 23rd, 2023. However, the originally expected dates for the examinations were supposed to be held from May 31st, 2023.The candidates who appeared in the examinations are desperate for the results, for the same National testing agency (NTA) released the provisional answer key of this year’s exams on the 29th of June.
But after getting numerous complaints over the errors in the provisional answer key, the National testing agency Re-released the provisional answer key of CUET UG 2023 exams on the 3rd of July. The previously released set of provisional answer keys had dropped a total of 333 questions, whereas the other set that was released this week had a drop of 411 questions.
Candidates got their opportunity to challenge the answer key from June 29th till the 1st of July. Approx 25,782 challenges were claimed by the candidates and the Chairman of UGC Mr. Kumar found 3,886 challenges unique.
It is expected and is officially announced by the University Grants Commission (UGC) chairman M Jagadesh Kumar that the national testing agency can declare the results by today or tomorrow morning.
The candidates who are expecting their results can check for their scorecards on the official website of CUET – cuet.samarth.ac.in.
The procedure of checking the result step by step –
Step 1: visit the official website to check the CUET UG results for the year 2023.
Step 2: After getting redirected, fill in the credentials which include your application number, and date of birth.
Step 3: now your CUET UG result would be displayed. Download your scorecard or take a printout for further future use.
After making the official announcement, chairman Mr. Kumar stated that the national testing agency is not at all rushing while correcting and analyzing the data and they are making sure that the results declared are free of any error.
For this current year a total of 16.85 lakh students registered for the exams out of which 13.99 lakhs of candidates paid the fee that was required for the examination and completed the procedure by filling out the registration form. This year’s data had an increase of 4 lakh students as compared to those of last year.
This year the candidate who appeared were not just from India but from across the country. A total of 74 countries such as Europe, Asia, America, and the Gulf gave their registrations for the examinations.
