University of Delhi on Thursday, September 11, 2024 released the result for third round of seat allocation of undergraduate course 2024. Students can check their result on its official website admission.uod.ac.in .
As per the end of the second round of seat allocation, as many as 72,351 students had been admitted, that means they surpassed the actual number of seats Delhi University provided for UG course student which is 71,600 seats.
In the third round of seat allocation, the number of seats allotted is intended to fill the remaining vacancies. No exact number of seats allotted in this round were disclosed by the university. Not even the number of upgraded allocations and the number of leftover vacancies were announced.
Earlier, On September 7, 2024 mid – entry round for undergraduate admissions 2024 was conducted by Delhi University. In this round those candidates who all previously missed the application filling process or the candidates whose applications were rejected due to issues such as incorrect subject mapping or putting of wrong courses by mistake, they were allowed to take part in the remaining rounds for vacant seats by University of Delhi and also candidates were allowed to apply for admission form based on their preferences for courses and colleges. The last date to fill the mid-entry round was September 9, 2024. Around 2,310 students applied in that round.
Students who received the seats in the third round are needed to accept their allotted seats by September 13, 2024. At a later stage, colleges will verify the online application by September 14, 2024. The due date to pay to the expected admission fees by the students is September 15, 2024.
After all the processes are done for the third round of seat allocation, Delhi University may declare the date and schedule for the spot rounds to fill the remaining vacant seats.
Students who are still waiting to get admission in the Delhi University colleges are required to show some patience as spot rounds are remained to be conducted by the university. There are lots of candidates who gets admission in the last rounds of the admission process.

On Thursday, September 12. 2024, DU’s NCWEB declared the cut-off list for women candidates. The admission will commence from September 13, 2024. Candidates who are willing to check the list can go to the official website of DU i.e. du.ac.in to take a view.
