Oasis Scholarship Eligibility: The West Bengal Backward Classes Welfare and Tribal Development Departments’ Oasis scholarships have a number of important eligibility requirements, which are listed below.
- The candidate must reside in West Bengal.
- For the applicant to be eligible for the scholarship, their family’s annual income must be low.
- The applicant must have received 50% of the possible points on their prior final test.
- The applicant should have met a minimum threshold for attendance.
- For female students alone, 30% of the scholarship programs are available.
- The scholarship will only be awarded to two applicants who share a blood relative or family.

- The Scholarship Portal for all Centrally Sponsored Schemes will remain accessible through June 10, 2023, but solely to verify any ongoing applications for the fiscal year 2022–2023 at various levels, not to accept new registrations or renewals. Prior to the closure of the scholarship portal for FY 2022–23, the POs/DWOs are requested to receive physical copies of the applications that have been electronically vetted at the institute level.
