Bollywood Actor Kriti Sanon announced the launch of her very own production house called “Blue Butterfly Films” on 4th July, Wednesday with her sister Nupur Sanon through her social media account. She also kept her fans intrigued by promising them a surprise, which will be revealed the next day, that is, the 5th of July, Wednesday.
Actor Kriti Sanon has been acting for nine years now and has managed to establish herself within this industry, her debut film being ‘Heropanti’ alongside Tiger Shroff. She is now thriving in her career at the moment by doing good projects and decided to launch her own production house as a step toward well-deserved success.
The Actor collaborated with her sister, Nupur Sanon, on running the company. The duo has named the Production house, “Blue Butterfly Films”. Kriti Sanon, on Tuesday, announced her production house using Instagram by sharing a video that shows the logo of the production house.
On Wednesday, 5th July, the actor announced the first film that will be produced by her Production house featuring Kajol, which will be streamed on Netflix. The title of the film is “Do Patti”, which was shared by the actor along with her other collaborators; they are Kanika Dhillon, Kajol, and Ruchikaa Kapoor.
Kanika Dhillon is the screenplay writer of the film and will be the co-producer along with Kriti, Kriti and Kajol have previously worked on a film together called Dilwale alongside Shah Rukh Khan and Varun Dhawan.
Kriti announced the first film of her production house by sharing the frame with Kajol, Kanika Dillon, and Ruchikaa Kapoor. Her post read, “Thrilled to announce DO PATTI! Alongside 3 very strong-headed, inspiring, and immensely talented women! Monica, we couldn’t have found a better platform than Netflix to tell this story! @netflix_in Ruchikaa Kapoor Superrr duperr excited to reunite with Kajol ma’am after 8 years! Kajol. Kanika – I’ve always loved your writing & I’m so happy to be co-producing my first with you! Ufff.. this is a special one! Kanika.d @kathhapictures.” Kriti concluded the post with, “This one is gonna be a thrilling game with a lot of heart! A first for Blue Butterfly Films @bluebutterflyfilmsofficial.”
Kriti’s announcement received a lot of positive reactions from her fans and her colleagues. Varun Dhawan wrote, “Congratulations Kriti” and dropped a heart emoji with it. Huma Qureshi wrote, “Congratulations babe.. sooo happy to see this.” Sobhita Dhulipala commented on her post, “Wowzers!!” Riteish Deshmukh congratulated her, “Congratulations my dearest friend Kriti Sanon!!! More power to you!” Director Anand L Rai commented, “Congrats Neighbour. Lots of love and best wishes.”
Some of the fans did not fail to point out how the name of the production house could be Kriti’s tribute to the late actor Sushant Singh Rajput, who was known for using the Blue butterfly emoji on his Instagram. Kriti will be next seen in the Film titled ‘The Crew’ alongside Kareena Kapoor and Tabu.
