Delhi University Declared UG CSAS Second Round of Allocation 2024

Delhi University on Sunday, August 25, 2024, declared the round 2 result of seat allocation for the undergraduate program 2024 through CSAS. Candidates can view their allocation status on its official website, admission.uod.ac.in.

The university has allotted 24,869 new seats to the candidates in the second round. Also, out of 43,515 candidates who opted for the upgrade in round 2, as many as 27,544 candidates were upgraded, getting higher preference colleges.

Earlier this week, DU released the vacant seats list for Round 2, according to which there were 6,100 vacant seats available because approximately 92% of seats were already allotted to the candidates in the first round. But now, after seeing the number of seats allotted in the second round, it has given relief to so many students. Moreover, even after such a huge competition in the DU admissions process, the large number of candidates who received the upgraded colleges is even more appeasing.

Furthermore, all those candidates who got rejected during the first round of allocation because of invalid documents have now been re-evaluated under the unreserved category based on their merit and preferences, subject to the availability of seats.

Candidates who are satisfied with their allocation must accept their seats by 4:59 p.m. on August 27, 2024. Candidates are required to submit their fees by 4:59 p.m. on August 30, 2024, to confirm their acceptance. All the colleges will verify the admissions by August 29. The academic session for UG courses will commence on August 29, 2024.

The students who have still not received seats at Delhi University need to be tolerant and determined. Losing hope in the last phase of admissions will be called groundless. There are more rounds to go in the admissions process, and only tenacious students can win. Also, academic sessions will begin shortly; hence, all the new students should ensure a smooth transition to their fresh journey towards college life.
