While in the reality of everyday lives,we get ambushed by the affairs of the heyday,there is also another world to rely on-the world of cartoons.Mostly depicted with quintessential associations with human lives and projecting a strong relativity to the happiness and sadness quotient of practical lives,the essence of brilliant characters need to be pondered upon time and again.The superlative nature of a few have stayed fresh in memory and have continued to excite us since generations.The caricatured and sometimes burlesque representations have never failed to make the hearts of a set of cartoon watching eyes go pitter-patter and seize amazement even in the present day.To the creators and to the creations,here is a dedication of the benevolence and attachment that ever we have expressed for them in the sojourn of our eventful lives.
1. CHACHA CHAUDHARY:
Taking a whip at middle class problems of the retro society, the character of Chacha Chaudhary was created with much amusement and mirth and merriment. The happy-go-lucky character created much of frenzy in the recent past and the twinkling eyes and ever smiling face generated the perfect glow in the lives of a vibrant population of the 1970s in the Indo-Gangetic plains. This character famous for his out of the box intelligence settled problems that loomed around in the city and would work out everything well for people. Filled with moral behavior and constant inspiration to do good, he the chacha will kindle the love rich as gold in our hearts any day. And as for mangoes, we will always remember him every time we peel the skin of one.
2. TIN TIN
Straddled with a variety of genres like swashbuckling adventures with elements of fantasy, mysteries, political thrillers, and science fiction,the Tin Tin stories are known to have featured slapstick humor, offset by dashes of sophisticated satire and political or cultural commentary.The character of Tin Tin allows readers to mask themselves in a character and safely enter a sensually stimulating world.Tin tin and snowy,helping each other in the most perilous of phases,very often engages us spiffing thoughts of camaraderie and comradeship,something we lose out on when catastrophes hit hard in life.
3. JOHNNY BRAVO
The incredibly super muscular, narcissistic and dim-witted, traits, that lead to a severe incorrigible inability to attract women, becoming a running gag throughout the series. The character memorable for his incredibly quick movements often accompanied by the distinctive sound effect of a bullwhip crack still find humor in the imaginations of today’s action genre.The flexing his muscles in a bodybuilder fashion is definitely a gesture of amazement for if not all,but perfectly for a handful of women. Johnny’s catch phrase “She wants me!” and the women beating him up for refusing to leave them alone have created lurch of laughter in the audience that lingers in memory yet now.
4. JERRY
The cartoons are known for some of the most violent cartoon gags ever devised in theatrical animation. Our very own beloved Tom using everything from axes, hammers, firearms, firecrackers, explosives, traps and poison to kill Jerry have remained all time favorite . The perfect methods of the tiny one’s retaliation , including slicing Tom in half, decapitating him,kicking him into a refrigerator, getting him electrocuted, pounding him with a mace, club or mallet causing trees or electric poles to drive him into the ground, gave much laughter to hearts.Oh,did i talk about stuffing Tom’s tail in a waffle iron?
5. VERONICA
Trendy and stylish like the name,we let all the fashion voguish people spend some time in checking their shelves for a while and take inspiration to go some more shopping.Veronica,created with much style remains to us the hot chic that never she failed at being throughout the series of Veronica Lodge. Elegance being her strong card,scheming and planning and plotting just makes the head turn when Veronica is remembered.The going on shopping and spending spree girl still encourages us to burn major credit cards yet now.
